What happens when you take a professional chef out of a traditional kitchen? Pot Kettle Black food truck--a rolling ton of steel serving up reinvented, southern inspired cuisine. From nostalgic dishes that evoke memories of grandma's cooking to one of a kind concoctions that make tastebuds sing, PKB has earned a reputation of excellent food served in a professional manner--fast. We have had the priveledge to serve on the streets of Charleston, at business lunches, school lunch programs, movie production catering as well as weddings.
As for the mastermind behind this well oiled machine, Chef Jon Caton graduated from the Culinary Institute of the Rockies in Boulder, CO many moons ago. He since worked in various kitchens--from fine dining French Fusion to high volume, urban catering--before falling in love with the soul of southern cooking. PKB's menu reflects this culinary journey, offering a modern selection of all of these elements refined with a delicate hand.
