The SPORTSMANS was established on December 16, 1988 and was the only sports theme bar and restaurant located in Indonesia for many years. We are family owned and operated and not a chain establishment, thereby providing more personalized and flexible services to our patrons.
Unlike many other establishments, we have never pretended to be all things to all people and remain focused on the primary service that we provide to our customers- SPORTS! We have remained true to our original aims of providing a haven where you can feel at home, and actually watch (& listen!) your favorite sporting events unperturbed while enjoying reasonably priced drinks and great pub food.

We are one of the few, if not the only place where both Anker and Bintang beers are available on tap. Our classic rock and country music reflects the tastes of our customers with many hard to acquire albums on the play list.

There are well maintained free of charge pool tables on both floors and a foosball table upstairs for your enjoyment. We believe we offer that rare place where you can feel comfortable bringing your entire family for a pizza or BBQ ribs and still enjoy the match!

Many guests ask us about the unusual spelling of our name and the reasons why we chose it. It is quite simple, wishing to be unique and not steal someone else's name we decided against using Sportsman's, which we discovered to be the trademark name of a race track located in Chicago. The SPORTSMANS name, although not being grammatically correct, was chosen instead.
