We are all native to somewhere, and all places have certain native cultures, traditions and foods with which we have all been raised. Native, A Local Joint, was created to celebrate these favorite ideas from all over the country with a few international inspirations thrown in for spice. Native’s proprietor is native to Atlanta (yes, there are a few of us), while our executive chef and dining room manager are both native to New Orleans, so certainly expect a staple of native southern dishes on the menu. We also all have spent time around the country and discovered wonderful native dishes from all corners which we will also feature as the seasons change. So expect a wide ranging and changing menu with special seasonal treats from New England lobster rolls to Baja fish tacos. Perhaps you’ll see roasted Cooper River Salmon or blackened Gulf Coast Shrimp on San Francisco sourdough bread in the panini press. You might also find Western Pennsylvania pierogies paired with North Carolina pork loin and southwestern jalapeño coleslaw on the side. We also want to hear from you and your native favorites from wherever you may have come. Welcome and enjoy!
