Marty O'Brien's Social Club (which is now referred to as MOB or Marty O'Brien's located at 94 Bloomfield St in Hoboken, NJ has 3 owners. Nick, Jim, and Joe. The bar was originally Busker's Bar and Grill but it made no money and was completely run down. Jim and Joe worked at Buskers for 2 years before Nick was asked to become a partner. Jim and Joe watched Buskers deteriorate and did nothing to make it a better establishment FOR TWO YEARS.
Buskers officially closed August 14, 2011.
Nick raised the capital to renovate and to change the name to make it into a new establishment.
Nick was in charge of the renovation and the creation of Marty O'Brien's Social Club. The grand opening of MOB was 9/22, Nick's Step Father passed away on 9/24. He was gone for a week to be with his family. When he returned Jim and Joe went to their lawyers and had him banned as well as his GF who essentially designed and paid for the renovation with him. They BANNED the two people that gave them a brand new place and gave them a chance to earn a living. They BANNED these two people knowing that they owe them over $100K. They would never have been able to have MOB if it were not for these two people whom they BANNED and have driven them into lawsuits. These two people have now been silenced due to these lawsuits which Joe's brother is their lawyer...
Why do two people who gave up their time, money, creativity have to pay for a place they are BANNED from? Please go in and ask Jim and Joe who paid for the furniture their customers sit on, where the wallpaper came from, what contractor made the wine rack, why they haven't paid their contractors, who paid for the electrician, who paid for the dishwasher, who picked out the paint, who picked out the tiles, who sanded the floors????
PLEASE ASK JIM AND JOE WHY THESE TWO PEOPLE THEY BANNED FROM MOB HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR BAR???? and while you are at it, ask them how much money they put up....their answer will boil your blood.
