John named his restaurant "Kyma" (pronounced Kima) meaning "wave" in Greek, based on his three decades of experience in passionately preparing authentic Greek seafood dishes, as well as the restaurant's close proximity to the St Kilda beach.
Kyma is available for private functions and group bookings. A designated covered smoking area is provided at the front courtyard of the restaurant.
