Master Chef Seki San
Spend a few minutes with our master chef Seki San you realize that he is essentially an artiste, thinker and philosopher in the disguise of a Chef. Seki San has international culinary experience behind him. A widely travelled creative Chef, he has mastered the art and spirit of Japanese gastronomy. He personifies the simplicity of a master who is at the peak of his realization through his art form. There is nothing pretentious about his cooking style yet it invariably invokes a finger-licking experience. He exhorts his team to add their heart to cooking besides achieving technical excellence. A person with tremendous wit and sense of humour Seki San loves to tease the palate of his customers with his breathtakingly unusual experimentation.

Our menu is inspired by the deep impressions and experience acquired by our Master Chef Seki in Japanese cooking during his long stay and work in Japan. We take pride in paying attention to detailed food preparation in the strictest Japanese tradition and eating protocols. We are sensitive to every single nuance if this rich Japanese cultural heritage!
The Interiors
Our interiors defy the notion of a Japanese restaurant. It is a medley of seemingly contrasting ingredients. In keeping with the Japanese culture it has the stark simplicity of a Zen master. Yet it arouses your curiosity with its outrageously dissimilar industrial look and feel. We have fashioned stunning metal finishes just like inside an iron mill. We are located away from the hustle and bustle of Singapore CBD in the quiet neighbourhood of Tiong Bahru. The idea is to come and relax with us without being rushed.
