Green Room is a night club in downtown Ft Lauderdale that functions as a dance club / concert venue / art gallery / lounge all at the same time.
For the last couple years, our burgeoning art scene in South Florida has grown to new heights. While surrounding areas have played host for many of our area’s top artists, downtown Fort Lauderdale has tended to overlook local artists and original music. That is, until now.
Green Room is a multi-function venue that caters to members of our local creative community. With a large dance floor, a stage for live bands, an art gallery that spans two floors, top notch production, and a vast array of craft beers and liquor options, the Green Room has a little something for everyone.
Black Fridays focus more on performance arts and DJs who'll be spinning 80s new wave, industrial, EBM, post-punk, and electro. With stellar cast of rotating DJs, tribute nights, unique performers, and massively attended themed parties such as Zombie Walk and May The 4th Be With You, it's an intriguing event that merges sub-culture with the mainstream.
On a GRS (Green Room Saturdays), you can expect the resident DJs to be spinning indie remixes and electro, live performances from up-and-coming local acts, rotating art shows, burlesque, fashion shows, and live paintings. Every Saturday night will showcase some of our area's most passionate and talented artists. It's a night to revel in local culture, and party with friends over affordable drinks and great tunes.
