Fahrenheit 600 Restaurant & Cafe
About Us,
Imagine a hand crafted dough topped with genuine Italian tomato sauce and home made fresh mozzarella cheese snaps from a wood-fired, stone oven. We call it pizza. It has a rustic, old-world texture, and the distinct taste of locally grown, freshly prepared ingredients.
In the History,
The history of Fahrenheit 600 has been tied up with the history of Italian wood fired brick oven, which usually reach 800 degrees (of course we prefer to bake in 600 degrees to have a juicier pie) to bake an authentic pizza. Wood burning brick ovens have been around for 3,000 years or at best the early rise of civilization. Since middle age times the wood burning oven has been used to bake bread and other foods. Its origin is lost in time but leads us back to the origin of bread.
A Wood Burning Brick Oven gives you that unique savory taste that can not be reproduced in a normal kitchen oven. Fahrenheit 600 celebrates the communal dining experience with bread as the centerpiece of the meal. Our menu features a variety of sandwiches, soup, salads, artisan meat and cheese selections - and, of course, pizza.
All about Mozza,
Mozza was born in a snowy night in January 2013. His parents named him Mozzarella, but he prefers to be called Mozza. He loves pizza and he loves talking to you every night. When you see him, say hi, and please, resist the temptation to eat him.
