EL GORDO Food Court has been one of the most advertised and featured restaurants in the city of Toronto for the past 3 years. Located right in the heart of Kensington Market at 214 Augusta Ave, the food court has hold many independently owned restaurants that became successful in short time. Some of these restaurants have been; Gordo Empanadas, Panchos Bakery, Arepa Market, Agave y Aguacate, Artsnfruits, Macondo, Rebozos, Avo, Parrilla Time, Andes Foods, Antojitos Peruanos, Seven Lives, Rock Lobster and the list goes on. It has been featured as one of Toronto’s hottest food incubators by local media.

Panchos Bakery sells the most famous churros in town, El Gordo Empanadas offers delicious Chilean Flavours, Antojitos Peruanos by Chef Lorena Ramos from The Boulevard Café has wonderful Peruvian cuisine, Rasta Pasta delights with traditional Jamaican recipes infused with the classic Italian style, Rancho Latino by Aristobulo with amazing Colombian cuisine, and finally DON TACO by Jose Luis Borjon with traditional Mexican flavours.

We are responsible for a 7,000sqf property involving the lease of 9 independent businesses. Massive events and festivals have occurred involving international artist. In addition our entire beautiful patio is decorated by amazing graffiti art from local and international artist.

Currently the food court has been renovated for this year’s summer season. The patio is being renovated to connect it with the improved beautiful red brick studio at the end of the patio.
