Chef Tatung, the restaurant offers an array of Filipino heirloom dishes and regional specialties from around the Philippines; dishes Chef Tatung loved while growing up in his hometown Cebu in the Visayas; recipes he learned from his grandmother who was from Bicol in Southern Luzon and specialties he discovered on his travels around the country. The array of dishes offered on the menu are all made in-house and prepared from scratch using the best local ingredients available and with the most traditional methods. The symphony of flavors, aromas and textures takes diners on a gastronomic journey across time and across the countryside, providing a cursory experience of artisan Filipino cookery to enjoy with your friends and loved-ones.
Chef Tatung is a destination and is set within a residential enclave just 10 minutes from Bonifacio Global City (BGC), one of the country’s premier business districts. The stand alone elevated bungalow is surrounded by acacia and bamboo trees providing a rural vive to an elegantly appointed resort-themed restaurant dressed with antique hardwood furniture and curio items from Chef Tatung’s personal collection. Chef Tatung also provides attentive yet unobtrusive table service creating a homey laid-back mood for an elegant Filipino dining experience.
