Our ethos at Catch is straightforward: source the freshest seasonal seafood and locally grown produce, and prepare each dish with refined technique, simplicity, and attention to detail.
Executive Chef Sven Mede has had a seasoned career, including executive chef positions at Michael Mina’s American Fish and Nobhill Tavern in Las Vegas, as well as time spent as sous chef at Charlie Trotter’s in Chicago. His deep culinary experience includes positions in the United Kingdom and Germany, as well as a nod for Star Chef’s “Rising Star Chef” award, and stints at several Michelin-starred and James Beard Award-winning restaurants.
Catch is located at 1910 Ocean Way, where Pico Blvd. meets the Pacific Ocean, in Santa Monica, CA, 90405. The restaurant’s idyllic location along the California coast offers unparalleled views of the ocean and is just a short distance from the famous Santa Monica Farmers’ Market and Santa Monica Pier.
The private dining room caters to parties of up to 16 guests, offering the opportunity to enjoy a customized chef’s table experience, or celebrate a special occasion.
