Bawai's Vietnamese Kitchen has opened its doors to a new branch here in Quezon City. We offer a distinct Vietnamese food experience truly enjoyable by all.
In 2007, lifetime partners Virgilio and Yong Tatlonghari opened their Tagaytay home to guests searching for a distinct Vietnamese experience. Bawai, named after the Vietnamese way of calling one’s grandparents, hopes to create an atmosphere of coming home to an authentic home-cooked meal.
Bawai features fresh ingredients imported directly from Vietnam to preserve the authentic flavors of its dishes. There is a lot to love in Bawai – from its exotic herbs and spices, healthy vegetables, Vietnamese-style drip coffee, to its signature sweet patis that tastes good with almost everything on the menu.
Bawai’s specialties include the famous Pho (Vietnamese Soup), Goi Cuon (Vietnamese fresh lumpia), Nem Nuong (grilled Vietnamese sausage), and Chao Tom (pound shrimp on sugar cane). Pair these delectable dishes with our homemade Jasmine (Pandan) Iced Tea, and end your meal with Banh da Lon (Vietnamese rice cakes).
Bawai Vietnamese Kitchen in Tagaytay is now in Metro Manila. Opening its doors this September 2013, Bawai will be your new Vietnamese home in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City.
